Why Nevada-First Matters

Nevada's collection agency framework is specific. SB 248 changed the medical debt landscape — 60-day notification, 5% fee cap, voluntary payment treatment, credit reporting hold. NRS 649.332 dispute handling has Nevada-specific procedural requirements. NRS 17, 21, and 31 govern judgment enforcement with Nevada-specific exemption rules and procedures.
